This watch is part of the Vostok-Europe Great Explorers Collection, which celebrates the world's foremost explorers from around the globe and throughout history. This edition celebrates the 200th anniversary of the first Russian expedition to Antartica. The original expedition spanned from 1819 to 1821 and circumnavigated Antartica, coming within just a few kilometers of the coast. A crew of 190 journeyed for 751 days to safely return from a successful scientific and exploratory mission. This achievement is elegantly captured in the Vostok-Europe special edition.
