The Baikal Project Watch by Vostok-Europe
The Baikal Project set out to set two world records on the ice of Lake Baikal, which they accomplished in early 2020. Lake Baikal is the world's largest fresh water lake and is in Russia's Siberia region. Braving the frigid cold, the Baikal team took six motorcycle riders and a 4 wheel vehicle over 83 km of ice at -40 degrees Celsius. They did all this with no support back-up team.
As part of this amazing expedition, Vostok-Europe built two, one-hundred-piece limited edition watches. R2AWatches has secured a small portion of these watches for our customers. Like all the special editions of VE, these will go fast and hesitation means not getting one of these great timepiece.
