The Vostok-Europe SSN 571 Submarine Automatic Watch (NH35-571O609) is a unique timepiece that pays tribute to a significant milestone in maritime history. Limited to just 3000 units and handmade in Lithuania, this watch is a fusion of historical homage and modern watchmaking.

This watch draws its inspiration from the USS SSN 571, the world's first operational nuclear-powered submarine and a trailblazer in naval engineering. The SSN 571 was renowned for its groundbreaking submerged transit of the North Pole on August 3, 1958, and its ability to operate for extended periods, far surpassing the capabilities of the diesel-electric submarines of its time. This submarine set numerous records in its early service, especially in terms of sustained, unbroken operations.

The design and production of this watch line were carried out in collaboration with the "Association of Veterans of US Submarine Service," adding an element of authenticity and respect for naval history.

At the core of the watch is the NH35 movement from Seiko Manufacturing Co, Japan. This movement is known for its reliability and includes features like:
- A sweep-type second hand for smooth movement.
- A shock-resistance device for the balance staff, enhancing durability.
- A stop-second hand device for precise time setting.
- A quick-set date calendar.
- 24 ruby jewels that reduce friction within the movement.

The watch case is crafted from marine-grade bronze, measuring 45.7×15.6mm, and features a 30 atm water resistance rating. It includes a unidirectional rotating bezel, a screw-in crown, and a K1 crystal with an anti-reflective coating for clear visibility.

For visibility in low-light conditions, the watch dial is equipped with 12 vertically mounted tritium tubes, with an additional 3 tubes on the hour and minute hands.

The watch comes with two straps: an original silicon flexible and expandable strap with a solid VE buckle, suitable for wearing over a diving suit, and a thick, flexible leather strap also with a solid VE buckle. The straps are easily interchangeable using a screwdriver or even a 1-2 cent coin, a clever and original design feature by VE.

Adding to its uniqueness, the case back features a 3D image of the SSN571 Nuclear Submarine, a nod to the watch's inspiration.
